Your Club Needs You

Volunteers needed for Youth Section

As we approach the new season we're busy thinking about how we can improve for this year and build on the great year we had last year.

The key driving force in the development we had last year was the efforts put in by the volunteer parents who helped with coaching, in the kitchen, administration or in the many other roles needed to run our club.

We're always looking for volunteers to help out and it may be that you have an expertise or knowledge that can help the club. There's lots of ways to help and the more volunteers we have the less time it will take. These are just some of the ways to help but you may have other skills to bring:

Coaching - all the coaches are volunteer parents. As the club grows we need more coaches, could you help?

Catering - we all love a bacon sandwich on a Sunday morning but we need volunteers to run the kitchen when we have training and matches. If you have catering experience and Food Hygiene certification we could do with your help.

Sponsors - do you work for a company that would be interested in sponsoring the club? We need sponsorship to make sure we have the correct equipment and next year we are looking at our training kit and match shirts. If you are in a position to influence marketing spends in your company then let us know, it could be anything from £200 upwards.

Car Parking - as we grow and invite more clubs to us for tournaments we need volunteers to help with parking on match days. It's only for half an hour and will help make the events we host run smoothly.

Match reports/Photographs - as you'll see from our match reports, we're not highly trained journalists! If you could write match reports and or take some action photos it will help get a fun record of our matches onto the website.

If you can help drop a line to

Welcome to Old Grammarians Youth Section

This is where we hope you can find all the information you need about the Old Grammarians Youth section. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask one of the coaches after training on a Sunday. Alternatively, look on the Youth Contacts section for the relevant person.

We're always on the look out for new talent to join our friendly club so if you've been thinking about finding a way to get fit, have fun and make some new friends then you're in the right place.
